About Oakdene House Foundation

A community charity grounded in practical support, dignity, connection, and real pathways forward.

Who We Are

A community charity built around real life

Oakdene House Foundation is a Western Sydney charity that supports people and families affected by addiction, hardship, homelessness, and other life challenges. Our work is shaped by the belief that support should be respectful, practical, and accessible, especially when life feels unstable or overwhelming.

What Drives Us

Mission, Vision and Values

Our Mission

To support people and families through practical help, connection, and pathways that strengthen wellbeing, dignity, and community belonging.

Our Vision

A community where people facing hardship are met with respect, support, and genuine opportunities to move forward.

Our Values

Dignity

We treat every person with respect and without judgment.

Practical Support

We focus on what helps in real life, not just what sounds good on paper.

Connection

We believe people do better when they feel seen, supported, and part of a community.

Hope

We stay focused on progress, possibilities, and the next step.

How We Work

Our Approach

Oakdene works in a way that is practical, person-centred, and community-based. We meet people where they are, help respond to immediate needs, and create pathways into longer-term support where needed.

We do not see people as problems to be fixed. We see people as capable of change when they have the right support, the right environment and the right relationships around them.
